Mobi is a Hawaiian based wireless service provider, originally launched in 2006. As Hawaiʻi's largest local wireless provider, we're committed to delivering affordable, reliable mobile service backed by great customer care.

I'll be leading the product efforts as we look towards expansion and our rebrand/launch.

Aug 2018 - Current

Ratehub.ca is a price comparison website which provides Canadians with the best information when selecting personal financial products.

I led the product efforts on the mortgage vertical which is the company’s biggest product by revenue. Ratehub never had a formal product team so lots of my early work was focused on setting company-wide metrics, and influencing how our product team should interact and fit in with the rest of the organization.

Accomplishments:

- Increased conversion to our applications by 30% in 6 months — hitting our goal for the year

- Envisioned and created Ratehub's product workflow using Jira, defining each step and communicating it to the organization.

- Created and automated company-wide metrics using backend data and Google Analytics to measure performance and set up tangible goals.

- Helped define the day to day structure and scrum format with our development team.

- Worked on the development and vision for the online mortgage application process with CanwWise financial.

Ting is a division of Tucows (NASDAQ: TCX) and is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) providing cellphone service in the United States. www.ting.com

I began work on Ting the year we launched and led the operational side of our product. Ting was one of the first completely digital service providers in the U.S. which forced us to build our own experiences, solving problems that no one else had before us. I managed a team of PMs working cross-functionally to create digital, user-centric products using the newest agile methodologies and workflows — such as 5-day sprints, A/B testing, user testing, agile release cycles, etc...

Accomplishments:

- Ting grew from 3,000 to 290,000+ customers and $5M+ in revenue per month under my tenure.

- We were featured as the top wireless provider in the country by Consumer Reports for three years running.

- I developed countless products but am most proud of my work on the Bring Your Own Device process which was responsible for just over 80% of our customer activations.

- Led the integration efforts and onboarding of our T-Mobile and Sprint relationship along with countless others including device financing with Affirm, and device partnerships with Apple, Motorola, and Samsung.

Roots is a Canadian brand that sells apparel, leather bags, small leather goods, footwear, active athletic wear, and home furnishings.

I landed this job after reaching out to the Chief eCommerce & Customer Experience Officer at Roots during my last year of University. Working at Roots was my first choice and I expressed my attachment to the brand and desire to enter the world of eCommerce. I discovered they were hiring for an unpaid coop position which I applied for and eventually accepted.

Accomplishments:

- Increased the conversion of our email efforts by 15%.

- Conducted several A/B tests and led the organization of our email list.

- Helped define the content of our emails and social media, ensuring it was properly linked for SEO optimization.

- Managed our interactions via social media and thought out our content and post scheduling.

- Was vouched for by my manager at Roots for a product position at Ting/Tucows which eventually led me to my career in Product Management!
